David Lorne Pitcher, who is 46, can return to his home in B.C. pending his trial on charges relating to a Manitoba-based investigation. Pitcher applied for release late last week after being held in custody in Manitoba since his arrest last month in Vernon on several charges. Provincial court Judge Anne Krahn agreed to release Pitcher on several conditions, including that he post a $50,000 cash bond, abide by a nightly curfew, report weekly to Vernon RCMP and surrender his passport.
