Bears fan confidence drops https://www.thebearsfanshop.com/Anthony-Miller-Jersey , but still not as low as Packers’ fans Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL, powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Bears fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse. As expected, the FanPulse for our confidence this week went down with the Chicago Bears losing to the Miami Dolphins. They are still in first place in the NFC North at 3-2, but the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings are hot on their heels at 3-2-1. When the Bears dropped their week 1 game in Green Bay, our confidence dropped 11%. This loss to the Dolphins brought about a similar 11% loss in confidence. Us Bears’ fans are at an 85% confidence level with a tough match-up looming against the New England Patriots on Sunday. I’d imagine a win would see that number shoot back up north of 90. The next most confident team in the NFC North is the Minnesota Vikings, who just knocked off the Arizona Cardinals for their second consecutive win. The FanPulse has them at 75%.The Detroit Lions Sherrick McManis Color Rush Jersey , at 2-3 and fresh off their bye, have the next most confident FanPulse fans at 58%. And even though their team is in second place in the NFC North, Green Bay Packers’ fans have the least amount of confidence in their team at a pathetic 34%. The 2018 Chicago Bears have been compared to the 2017 Los Angeles Rams so much this year, that it will be interesting to see this Rams team up close and personal to see where the Bears could be headed. The parallels between the two teams are well documented. Both teams were going from an old school defensive coach to a new school offensive minded head coach. Both teams invested draft capital to move up in the draft to get their franchise quarterback. Both QBs struggled through growing pain as rookies in an outdated offensive scheme. Both franchises dedicated themselves to getting their quarterbacks on track in year two. The Rams went 11-5 under first year head coach Sean McVay in 2017, and the Bears are on a similar winning path at 8-4 under first year head coach Matt Nagy this season. In McVay’s second year, the Rams look like one of the best teams in the NFL, so where will Chicago be in Nagy’s second season? The present and the future looks bright for Bears’ fans.
