Report: Broncos to have a pre-draft visit with guard, Chris LindstromBob DeChiara-USA TODAY SportsAccording to reports, the Denver Broncos have a pre-draft visit/workout scheduled with former Boston College offensive lineman, Chris Lindstrom.Lindstrom is a 6’4”, 308lb interior offensive lineman who is considered one of, if not the top interior offensive line prospects in this year’s draft class. He can play guard or center which is currently a need for the Broncos and will step in as a day one starter for whoever selects him in the draft. He is also an excellent scheme fit because of his high-end athleticism which is needed in the zone-blocking scheme the team is implementing. Here is what NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein has to say about Lindstrom in his scouting report on NFL.com. He would be a perfect fit for the Broncos and someone I can see Offensive Line coach Mike Munchak pounding the table for during the draft. As we know Dennis Smith Jersey , they have a need at starting center or starting right guard, and Lindstrom can fit either of this holes(right guard is where he should go in my opinion).Also, this is the second time the Broncos will meet with Lindstrom. They also met with him during the NFL Scouting Combine, so it appears there is some real potential interest there. Problem for the Broncos here is that they may not have a second chance at selecting Lindstrom. The 10th overall pick is a bit early for him, but he is projected to go sometime in the late 1st round to sometime early day two of the draft. The Broncos have the 41st overall selection in the second round and while it might be long odds of Lindstrom making it that far, he figures to be high on the Broncos board. Sounds like a trade is near..."According to the Denver Post’s Ryan O’Halloran, Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. told him that he belives “something’s going to happen soon”. It’s likely this means a trade since the Broncos have been fielding trade offers for Harris since his demands were made public last night. 9NEW’S Denver’s Mike Klis says the Broncos are not giving Harris away for nothing Terrell Davis Jersey , so hopefully they can get something of value for Harris.It makes sense that the Broncos and whoever is making the trade wants to get this done quickly. Any deal likely effects their draft plans for tomorrow night and through the weekend, so sooner the better here. Especially for an All-Pro talent like Harris. As for compensation, I am optimistically holding out for a late first-rounder in exchange for Harris, but a day two selection at least is probably more likely.
